The late Jules Deelder, who passed away in 2019, was a famous writer and poet in The Netherlands but especially Rotterdam. He was famous for his style of writing and Taste of Art collaborated with him because they wanted to release a set of plates
for restaurants. The idea was that Jules would draw some unique texts and drawings and they would be later printed on the
high-end, exclusive plates as collectors items after people ate from them at a restaurant.
